Dear customer: We have tried to hold down the cost of these door protectors for the last couple of years, however with the supple chain issue and the continuing price increase in EVERYTHING it takes to make these, we are unfortunately forced to increase the price accordingly. Can't Keep Magnetic Signs on your door to keep it from getting scratches?

We have finally got these door protectors back on the web site. We have "re-designed" it to make it even better.

Instead of the magazines that was required to "weight" it down, we now have heavy duty magnets inserted on the door side pocket to serve this purpose. A pocket is sewed on the inside to hold change, pens, etc. We DO NOT advise using this pocket for your scanner

Also, we have now "embroidered" the Postal Service logo with Rural Carrier underneath.

They are only available in BLACK. The door protector is made of the same heavy duty vinyl that is used in seat covers to withstand years of use.

Door protector

I like the pocket, I get magazine boxholders once a month. Works great for the magazines. Only 4 stars because you can't roll window up when using. From PJs... You can reach out the window , grab the bottom of the door protector, and pull it inside your vehicle. I did this when I was delivering when I had dead zones between boxes, especially when it was raining or on hot days.

Size

Should be nearly twice as wide to provide "ultimate" protection. I have to use both protectors that I bought just to cover one door. Interior pocket should face door, not the carrier, as to not collect rain water. A couple more inches in length would be good too. From PJ's: Why would you need one wider? You should be able to guage when you stop at a mailbox to get within 15" (the width of the Door Protector) before opening a mail box lid. This protector is designed to keep the mail box lid from scratching your door when you open a mail box. Can't understand why you think it needs to be wider????

I would’ve like some padding in it From PJ's: When I was delivering mail, I went to Walmart and bought one of those small furry like bath mat like you put in front of your toilet and then put the door protector over it. a thick towel folded will also work just as well.
